OuterCircle gave me something I didn't realise I was missing: a community of like-minded apprentices who understood the journey I was on. Choosing a non-traditional path can feel isolating, especially when everyone around you is preparing for university. OuterCircle helped me reconnect with my passion for apprenticeships, separate my life in the office from my life as an apprentice, and give back to the next generation. Being part of a community growing across the country is genuinely inspiring.

During my cancer treatment, I missed the opportunity that typical teenagers get to socialise and network, and so OuterCircle (OC) has been transformative for me.

Organisations operating in the same space as OC don't quite come close; OC is truly one of a kind. It genuinely feels like a family, and I make new friends and have brilliant conversations at each and every event I attend.

OuterCircle has genuinely changed my apprenticeship experience. Through the remote content creator team, I've been able to support aspiring apprentices, but the impact on me has gone far beyond the work itself. I've made real friendships with apprentices across the UK who understand what I'm going through. OuterCircle makes the apprenticeship journey feel less lonely, more supported, and so much more rewarding.

OuterCircle gave me the third space I didn't think apprentices had: somewhere outside of work and study to connect, explore my interests, and grow. It has also given me the chance to give back by sharing my journey, coaching aspiring apprentices, and supporting others through the uncertainty I once faced. OuterCircle proves that the apprenticeship path is not just valid, but worth championing.

Moving away from home for my apprenticeship would have been far more challenging without OuterCircle. It gave me a safe space to build friendships, feel welcomed, and connect with people who understood my experience. As I settled into my role, OuterCircle became more than support - it became a catalyst for opportunity, helping me build confidence, access new networks, and inspire aspiring apprentices.
